What is H.P.P?
High Pressure Processing (H.P.P.) is a food safety technique that is a used for cold pressed juices.
Using cold, purified water at very high pressure (equal to 6x the deepest part of the ocean!) - the cold water pressure kills all pathogens and bacteria such as listeria, salmonella and E.Coli.
Because H.P.P uses cold pressure instead of the traditional high heat pasteurization - the result is juice that has much better taste, nutrition, texture and shelf life!
In order to facilitate the H.P.P process - plastic packaging has to be used due to the immense pressure.
We encourage all of our customers to keep their 100% recyclable plastic bottles and return them to us so that we can ensure our landfills stay clear of plastic and are recycled properly!
